Out of the Shadows have entertained for the last two years here in Soulby and we are now eagerly awaiting their third visit. The "Shadows" night is, by far, the most popular event we hold in our village hall, enjoyed by the thirty somethings and oldies alike - great music and great fun!

The band authentically reproduces the sights and sounds of the classic pop music of the late fifties and early sixties, when pop music, beat, rhythm and blues and rock and roll were all becoming the sounds of the day. Those of us of a certain age are instantly taken back to the days when life was a lot simpler, we were all a lot younger, and all intent on enjoying ourselves as much as we could. The band make us all want to get on the floor and start dancing as we used to all those years ago, and for a few hours at least return to those heady days of our youth

In terms of the night, I thought that the Out of the Shadows band made what was a good night, amazing. You were so professional with your punctuality in turning up and working round how we wanted to structure the evening, your appearance throughout the evening (even changing clothes mid way) was impeccable and the music was excellent. The quality beat every expectation that I had. You can really see and hear through the music that the members do this for the love of playing.

Everyone really enjoyed it and even a month on, people are still saying what a great evening it was and one of the first things they say about is how fantastic the band was. That for me, is proof enough that booking the band was one of the best decisions we made about the party. I would certainly pass on your details, with high recommendations to anyone having a party, who wants quality music that everyone will get up and dance to. I have no doubt that I will use you again in the future and I know that lots of people took your cards away from the party.
