60th birthday party at The Lensbury, Teddington

Out of the Shadows were just fantastic - I cannot praise them too highly - the dance floor was full from the first note until the last with many people on the dance floor for the full 3 hours.  Many of the guests were Lensbury members and lots said it would be nice to have the band back for another doo.  Many thanks to the whole team for helping to make the occasion so successful.    November 2011

Our thanks to "Out of the Shadows" for a great night. Everyone there has been fulsome in their praise and had a wonderful time. We would love to do this again. The chanting for more at the end said it all I think, and for a while it seemed as if you were not going to be allowed to go home. The event also raised funds for Rotary Charities and in particular for Talking News - all of this on top of getting people together and having some terrific fun! The variety of music that you performed hit the spot for the audience and the bits of banter between songs all added to evening's entertainment. I am sure word will spread and the next time we do this it will be an even bigger night.. 2011

Thank you all for a fantastic evening!  We will definitely be sorting out some suitable dates for your return next year. Far from being  ‘The Last Time' it will be ‘The Third Time’.  Thanks for including the Stones number; I really did appreciate it. Did you all  know that you had five priests whooping it up; together with one Lay Minister plus an assortment of local councillors and the Deputy Mayor and they all enjoyed themselves immensely. The overall feedback was that everyone thought it was an excellent evening and we raised nearly £3,000.  Come back soon! 2011.

In terms of the night, I thought that Out of the Shadows made what was a good night, amazing. You were so professional with your punctuality in turning up and working round how we wanted to structure the evening, your appearance throughout the evening (even changing clothes mid way) was impeccable and the music was excellent. The quality beat every expectation that I had. You can really see and hear through the music, that the members do this for the love of playing.

It was a great night on Friday, a real family affair, which is just as we wanted it! It would be great to have you back sometime.   We found Out of the Shadows to be very professional in all aspects of the performance and look forward to working with you again in the future. The band authentically reproduces the sights and sounds of the classic pop music of the late fifties and early sixties, when pop music, beat, rhythm and blues and rock and roll were all becoming the sounds of the day. Those of us of a certain age are instantly taken back to the days when life was a lot simpler, we were all a lot younger, and all intent on enjoying ourselves as much as we could. The band make us all want to get on the floor and start dancing as we used to all those years ago, and for a few hours at least return to those heady days of our youth.
